Ian Treherne
Ian is a photographer with a truly unique take on the world, navigating it through the lens of RP Type 2 Usher Syndrome, which combines blindness and deafness. Ian's creative journey kicked off in his youth, using drawing and painting to break through the isolation of profound deafness, eventually leading him to the world of photography.
Now, as a commissioned photographer and ambassador for Sense UK, Ian collaborates with big names like Apple and Canon UK. Specialising in black-and-white portraiture, Ian captures light, texture, and atmosphere, both in studios and on location. His mission? To amplify the voices of disabled and non-disabled individuals, fostering inclusivity, busting stigma, and working towards a more accessible world for everyone.
